Facial Harmonization
Facial harmonization is a comprehensive approach that combines minimally invasive treatments and minor procedures to improve facial proportions without changing the identity of the face.
Under this heading I include treatments that do not require major surgery and that can help us restore volume, refine proportions, soften asymmetries or define certain features.
In some patients we will use hyaluronic acid or other non-surgical aesthetic treatments; in others, the patient's own fat through fat grafting; and, when the anatomy calls for it, minor surgical procedures such as a lip lift.
What unites all these procedures is not the technique, but the judgment with which they are indicated. It is not about adding volume or changing features according to a set template, but about analyzing what each face needs and choosing only what can bring real improvement.
The goal is subtle, proportionate changes that are consistent with each patient's anatomy: improving without losing what makes each face recognizable and unique.
"My goal is that, after treatment, you do not feel you have a different face, but that you have regained a more harmonious and balanced version of yourself."
Why less is (sometimes) more
The reason for working with less invasive procedures is not to do less, but to achieve improvements that blend naturally into the face and fit in with the patient's daily life.
Respect for your features
The aim is to improve proportions and contours without altering your own features. We seek to avoid excessive or artificial results, or an appearance of added volume that does not match the patient's anatomy.
Easier recovery
Because these procedures are less extensive, they usually allow a faster recovery and an easier return to daily activities. Recovery time, swelling and potential risks always depend on the technique used and on each patient.
Natural evolution
The improvements blend gradually into the face, with no need for an abrupt or obvious change. The aim is for the result to be seen as a fresher, more balanced and more harmonious version of the person.
There is no star treatment
There is no star treatment. There is a diagnosis and, based on it, the combination that will best help each patient.
Hyaluronic acid fillers
They restore specific volume deficits, refine proportions and soften asymmetries. They can also be used to complement other treatments, provided there is a specific indication and the timing is carefully considered.
Neuromodulators
Neuromodulators, such as botulinum toxin, modulate the activity of specific muscles and soften wrinkles and expression lines without adding volume.
Fat grafting (lipofilling)
Uses the patient's own fat to restore volume and improve certain facial contours. Because it is autologous tissue, there is no risk of immune rejection, and part of the fat that integrates can last for the long term.

Lip lift
A minor surgical procedure that shortens the distance between the base of the nose and the upper lip, increasing vermilion show and changing lip proportions without adding volume with fillers.
Skin quality improvement
Texture, radiance, pigmentation and overall skin quality are also part of the result.
Treatments aimed at improving the skin can complement work on volume and proportions, because a harmonious face depends not only on its structure, but also on the quality of the skin that covers it.
And whatever each face needs
This list is not closed. The consultation is there to determine what can genuinely bring improvement and what does not need treatment.
And in some cases, the best treatment is precisely to do less than initially planned.
Diagnosis first, treatment second
It is the same principle I apply throughout my practice: when the different areas of the face are assessed in isolation, it is easier to end up with results that do not fit together.
That is why facial harmonization is always planned from a global view of the face. In many patients it can be part of the same treatment plan as Cirugía de la Mirada® or a facelift, not necessarily as an alternative to them, but as a complement when it can add something.
The key is listening to what concerns the patient, understanding which changes are really producing that effect and planning treatment precisely. The most suitable techniques and materials are then chosen for each case, always aiming for proportionate, natural results that are consistent with the rest of the face.
